Globe Tattoo special DNS for faster connection

My Globe Tattoo had intermittent connection and was annoyingly slow this morning. I tried changing DNS servers and everything went fine. By that I discovered that the problem was DNS-related.

Here's how to fix a Globe Tattoo connection problem with DNS and to make Globe Tattoo wireless broadband internet even faster.

1. Plug your Globe Tattoo to your computer. Let the interface display in full and do not connectimmediately.
2. Click Tools and select Options.



3. Create a new profile by selecting Profile Management > New.
4. Type your desired Profile Name.
5. Under APN, select Static and put http.globe.com.ph in the box.
6. Under Authentication, put *99***1# as the Access number. For the User name and Password, leave it blank.



7. Select Advanced.
8. Under DNS Settings, select Static.
9. Put the Globe Tattoo special DNS 4.2.2.1 as the Primary DNS, then 4.2.2.2 as the Secondary DNS.
10. Click Ok, Set as Default and then Save.

If the special DNS will not work, try using the following Globe Tattoo DNS servers instead:

Primary: 202.52.162.39 
Secondary: 202.52.162.40 

Primary: 202.126.40.5 
Secondary: 202.95.226.66 

Primary: 202.95.226.66 
Secondary: 202.95.226.77

Primary: 202.52.163.6
Secondary: 202.52.163.7

How to Connect to Disconnected HUAWEI B200 from GLOBE

Ito po yung tut kung paano magpalit ng profile/apn para sa mga firstime gumamit ng ganitong modem.

** ilagay ito sa browser: 192.168.1.1/globe ..siguraduhing walang proxy ang browser at naka close ang mga tunneling apps at proxifier kung meron man..
-ilagay sa password:: gtadmin



**makikita sa bandang kaliwa ng gateway mga options na pagpipilian, pindutin ang ADMIN SETTINGS pagkatapos pindutin din ang 3g settings :



** Makikita ang dalawang options PPP SETTINGS at PROFILE SETTINGS


-ang PROFILE SETTINGS - dito siniset ang mga profiles or apn, kung openline ang unit na nabili mo pwede mo dito ilagay ang apn ng smart, globe, sun, weroam etc. ilagay lang yung APN at profile name and press save. note: kapag ang inedit mo lang ay apn at hindi binabago ang profile name maooverite ung profile na nandoon, usually globe ang nakalagay,, pwede rin magbura ng profile may delete button din..



** ngayon para mapalitan at magamit naman ang profile or apn na ginawa mo sa PPP SETTINGS naten yan mapapalitan, kung nasa profile settings ka press mo lang back button ng browser mo or backspace sa keyboard,, at pumasok PPP SETTINGS..



-dito mo na ngayon makikita yung profile list pindutin lang ang dropdown list sa Profile list para makita ang mga profile na ginawa mo sa profile settings piliin lang ang gusto mong profile and click save.. maghintay lang ng ilang segundo para mag reconnect ang modem.

At dyan nagtatapos ang tutorial na ito, simple lang para ka lang kumakain ng mani

TROUBLESHOOTING:

• Check mo date and time ng windows mo kung tama.
• Disable mo antivirus mo kung gamit mo ay Norton or Avira kasi nadedetect niya as Malware.
• Right click mo yung red box then exit meron magappear na uninstall click mo yes. then open mo ulit yung portable may magiinstall na driver click yes.
• Check mo yung nilagay mo na user at pass sa notepad dapat lowercase lahat at nakalagay sa 1stline yung username na binigay sayo at 2nd line naman yung password na binigay sayo
